Description & Technical information
Planter in gilded and patinated bronze mounted on a stepped base in "vert de mer" marble on which stand at the corners women dressed in long tunics and a central amphora with swan-shaped handles. Like the columns with female figures of the Erechtheion of the acropolis of Athens, these caryatids in patinated bronze support a fluted jardinière with an openwork caning in the upper part. On both sides of the receptacle of plants a garland in arc of circle formed by flowers, leaves, ribbons, a crown of laurel, a quiver and a caduceus.
