Claw set with an amethyst of rectangular cushion form, approximately 44.15ct, within an entwined two row diamond line scrolling border, millegrain set, mounted in platinum, signed 'PARIS CARTIER LONDRES', with a back gallery and fitting probably a later adaptation having maker's mark for Georges Harnichard and French assaymarks, total diamond weight approximately 2.00cts
