The arms to the cover within a strapwork and foliate cartouche flanked by figurehead supporters, a crest above and maskhead below, the base engraved with a cypher, allover polished ground, reeded rims, the lid interior applied with the oval bust length miniature of the young lady wearing dark pink gown over white underdress, looking toward the right her light brown hair worn partly up and with a curled tress coming down over her shoulder, dark brown background
