Gold and enamel hinged oval box. The lid, base and rim are adorned with swirling green and blue medallions in the lapis lazuli style, set against a guilloché background of vertical striated channels. The sides of the base and lid are highlighted with a frieze of gold and foliage, echoing the tones of the central motif.
