Description & Technical information
designed by: Adolf Loos
executed by: J. & J. Kohn
SH 47 cm
The chair is regarded as early evidence of Adolf Loos‘s particularly pronounced leaning to functional thinking. The piece exhibits characteristics that are often difficult to combine: lightness, resilience and warmth, too. Despite its clear elegance and stability, the chair sold only slowly and was thus never mass produced.
