Description & Technical information
A fine pair of late 18th century Adam period carved giltwood torchéres, each with a circular top with leaf-carved edge, above a tapering baluster stem decorated with acanthus leaves, above a fluted shaft with a gadrooned rim, on a spreading acanthus tripod base with cabriole legs headed by rams' heads with rosettes interspersed between, terminating in scroll feet.
