Description & Technical information

The walnut cabinet inlaid with geometric banding and small pieces of bone "grains of rice" forming star, flower and leaf motifs. The hinged top with alternating tile pattern of stars and diamonds, opening to release the fall front. The outside is inlaid with a stylised flower in a circle flanked by scrolling branches; the inside of the cabinet with a false frieze drawer above two short and one long drawer with pendant iron handles. The sides inlaid with a central rosette encircled by undulating leaves.
