Description & Technical information
Three-tones gold oval snuff box. The hinged lid is decorated with a country trophy medallion. The medallion is framed by a garland of green gold foliage and roses. The medallion is detached on a guilloché. The borders of the lid and the box are adorned with a frieze of interlacing in yellow and green gold standing on a background of gold amati. The structure is decorated with octagonal-shaped panels, which are decorated with a wave-guilloché. Between these panels, some pilasters are decorated with laurel leaves and rhythm the composition. At the bottom of the snuff box there is the same finely chiseled decor of guillochage with waves. Traces of wear.
